June 1st thru 6th
Had a great week fishing both in shore and off shore.
The spanish and king mackerel have moved in and are really chewing hard.
Getting catches of nice king 5 miles out. The gulf stream is really
producing as well. Getting LOTS of mahi mahi, large gaffer kings, bonita
tuna and wahoo, as well as snapper and a large variety of bottom fish.
Saturday May 23rd The Dixie
Chicken
Had a GREAT group from Up State New York man what
fishermen and women!! Went to the blue water and had a great day, despite
not winning! It was ROUGH and made fishing hard but
we managed to boat 10 big gaffer Mahi! 15-20 lb range. it was a productive
but hard day. Water temp is right there was one boat that did catch a
wahoo but that was the only one for the day for the fleet. Not as
plentiful as they should be but the weather has not been cooperating and
the water is a little too green. But the mahi are hungry and here in
masses! Until next tide

Had
three trips this week went out between 5 and 13 miles. The water temp is
just now getting up there and the spanish mackerel are starting to show
up. The sea bass are getting bigger near shore and the bite is on. I have
not made it offshore as of yet but from what I hear from those who have
the mahi mahi bite is getting red hot as well as the black fin tuna, big
gaffer kings and wahoo!! So NOW NOW NOW is the time for that gulfstream
trip you have been waiting for.... So call and book yours today!!!! and
give me something to write about. Until next tide.

Today Is Sunday April 19
Had four
trips this week, All half days. The water temp is slowing rising but the
bonita tunas have still not made an appearance, and it is almost too late.
However we are starting to see a few spanish mackerel caught as well as
some nice keeper black bass. The bite on the break in the blue water is
really turning on, so NOW is the time to book those gulf stream trips to
load up on Mahi Mahi, wahoo and tuna!! It just keeps getting better from
now on!! Until next tide

2009
Had an 8 hour trip today with some great guys from up state
NY. The weather was questionable, but we managed to make a day of it.
Caught a lot of small black sea bass and some blues. The water temp is
still Cooooooold! 61 degrees 12 miles offshore today. The little tunas or
bonita tuna have not made an appearance on the beach nor has the spanish
and king mackerel. But all in all it was a fun day with a little
rock and roll to match! Until next tide

Well it is the start of another season here, and things
are getting good. As the weather warms so does the water... Had a nice day
out in the gulf stream yesterday. We fished the Martini's Hook-A-Hoo
tournament. Boated two nice Mahi Mahi that did not make the grade but we
are on the leader board for a nice Black Fin Tuna 10.84 LBS. Lost two
GAFFER Wahoo at the boat UGH!!!!!! But that is fishing! Its a great sign
though. I was really worried as the wind and weather has been so bad, that
the water would not be ideal. It was a little green but we found a great
temp break and was able to save the day. All in all it is the start of a
great year. Until next tide..
